Spark by Hilton Guilford

On a regular visit to Guilford to see friends, we decided to stay at this new Hilton hotel change. It used to be a Comfort Inn I believe and Hilton took it over and renovated it nicely. Been open since the spring. We booked a room with two queens and it was spacious and clean. The only weak spot is breakfast which is limited to a continental style breakfast as compared to the wonderful breakfast at the Hampton Inns. The area was clean and the workers very helpful. Breakfast was fine for a reduced price hotel. We are quite happy with our stay and will stay here again.

Lovely drive , spacious rooms . HUGE bathroom . honestly out of all of the bathroom this bathroom was definitely the largest bathroom and had the largest showers out of any of them . Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. If you request a microwave - they are more than glad to provide you with one . This is a newer hotel with ALOT of rooms so they don’t have a microwave in every room yet and also the hotel isn't packed so they keep the microwaves away and if u request one they will bring it to ur room .

Great little renovated hotel. Was clearly something else before and has old school motel vibes. The renovated with a retro style and the front desk people were lovely. I only stayed one night but definitely recommend. One thing I would request is switch to paper plates & bowls at breakfast. How does styrofoam still exist?!

I had such a great stay here! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and overall a wonderful place to stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The service was also smooth and friendly. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable visit!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Spark by Hilton Guilford, especially because of the location. It’s in a perfect spot—very close to the shoreline and just a short drive to local shops, restaurants, and the town center. It made it really easy to explore the area without having to travel far. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus as well. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m visiting the shoreline area!

We stayed here for two days over the blizzard. It was really amazing how well they shoveled and plowed by the time the snow ended considering what it looked like at 6 am. The room was fine. Maybe a bit small but it was very clean and fine for us. Breakfast bar was appreciated. Jerry at the front desk was wonderful! Will definitely stay again. Just wanted to add an edit but we didn't experience any excess noise at all. In fact it was very quiet and there were quite a few people staying there. I didn''t even hear the 50 mph wind gusts that we had for most of the day of the blizzard

This is my second time staying at the Spark by Hilton Guilford, and it was just as great as the first! The hotel is always very clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the beds make it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about making guests feel welcome. Breakfast was fresh each morning and the location near the shoreline is perfect. I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in the area!

“Great stay – clean, comfortable, and friendly!” I stayed at the Spark by Hilton in Guilford while visiting family nearby, and I was honestly impressed! The room was super clean and smelled fresh. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the simple but modern design of the space. The staff were all so kind and helpful especially at check-in and during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch – the coffee was hot. Also, the location is great right off Boston Post Road, close to downtown Guilford and the beach. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!
